We have 11 cats in total. They’re very much our babies, the cats are always our priority.

[Left: Nala, Right: Simba]

Name: Nala
Breed: Bengal
Colour: Brown Rosettes
Gender: Female
D.O.B: 21st of August 2018
Characteristics: I am highly energetic and mischievous, I love play time, chasing and doing flips. Nala looooves her food, she eats the most out of all our cats, despite being so sleek. However she does eat so quickly that sometimes she can make herself sick. We give her lots of small portions throughout the day to help her. Little miss piggy loves Lemon Drizzle.
Fun Facts:
Our coats have been known to have glitter effect, if the sun catches it we look like we are covered in glitter. This is why our Breeders name is Shimmershine. We were hand reared after our traumatic birth. This is why Nala has a small kink in the end of her tail. It was fractured during our birth.

Name: Simba
Breed: Bengal
Colour: Brown Rosettes
Gender: Male
D.O.B: 21st of August 2018
Characteristics: I love to play in the water, dismantling the water fountain is one of my favourite things to do. Simba loves to jump up on on your chest and sit on your shoulders. Simba is much more affectionate than Nala, wanting a fuss.
Fun Facts:
Our ancestor is the small, wild Asian leopard cat which explains our wonderful markings. Our cousins can be several colours and patterns, including brown tabby, seal mink tabby, black silver tabby, and seal silver lynx point.

Name: Elsa

Characteristics:  My name fits me perfectly as I am the same colours as the frozen princess. Let it goooo….!!!

I require a daily groom of my long coat, as well as eye baths and ear cleaning daily to keep my face from becoming matted. I am quite lazy and love to cat nap so I have the staff do most of my grooming. I love to be brushed, make me look pretty guys! Elsa can be quite allusive – she will only grace you with her presence when she demands something!
Fun Facts: I am one of the largest cat breeds ever created, my breed is relatively new and I came about in the 1960’s.

Sometimes I get a little carried away – I can’t hear the others meow or hiss so I find it difficult to know when to stop. I will definitely chase your toes, they are my favourite. I have one of the loudest purrs. I do love to run in the exercise wheel. You might catch me doing my daily ‘Snoga’, my own quirky yoga poses.

Fun Facts: Tabby cats were named after a striped silk made in Baghdad. The cats were compared to the silk, giving them the name “tabby.” Although the exact word origin varies, there are several possibilities. The silk comes from the Attabiy district in Baghdad and the 14th century Middle French term for it was “atabis,” that soon turned to “tabis.” This, of course, translated into our English word, “tabby.”

Characteristics: I am the youngest and newest cat at Paws Cafe. I was living with a family in Devon as an indoor cat. I got out and became pregnant. I was very young and scared, when I had my litter I found myself in a lorry, bound for Telford. Thankfully I was handed in to the local vets and Katie came to visit me. I was so happy to see her, all I wanted to do was have fuss and be around people. I’ve taken my time to settle into Paws and make friends but I’m so happy to call it my home now.
Fun Facts: The Turkish Angora is a breed of domestic cat. Turkish Angoras are one of the ancient, natural breeds of cat, having originated in central Anatolia. The breed has been documented as early as the 17th century. They love to play and are very affectionate.
